- P3DTOOLS
- A set of development and monitoring tools for parallel 3D imaging projects. The development
tools in P3DTOOLS contain skeletons for P3DTTM, P3DPSDM, P3DPSTM and P3DPOSTM. The monitoring tools
include parallel system monitor, real-time 3D viewing package. The PDS "development skeleton" is
designed to run efficiently on "distributed resources parallel" (DRP) systems, such as IBM scalable
parallel systems, or "shared memory processors" (SMP), such as SUN SMPs, IBM SMPs or SGI SMPs.
- P3DTTM
- A parallel 3D traveltime package computes a travel time map (ttm) on a regular 3-D
Cartesian grid by an finite-difference scheme (eikonal solver). P3DTTM uses a proprietary algorithm which
handles the situation of multiple arrivals properly. The parallel implementation of the P3DTTM scale up
linearly for up to 80 processors. P3DTTM is packaged separately from P3DPSDM, (intended for companies
who want to use its own in-house imaging S/W).
- P3DPSDM
- A complete parallel 3D prestack depth migration package, which includes P3DTTM and Kirchhoff
summation. The parallel implementation of the P3DPSDM scale up for linearly up to 192 processors.
P3DPSDM is designed to handle full volume 3D input and output, and it has the ability to do target
oriented PSDM as well. P3DPSDM has an anti-alias option and the option to produce "common offset gather" which is
suitable for velocity analysis. P3DPSDM has been effectively tested on five different 3D data sets.
- P3DPSTM
- A complete parallel 3D prestack time migration package, which is based on Kirchhoff
summation. The parallel implementation of the P3DPSTM scale up linearly for up to 192 processors.
P3DPSTM is designed to handle full volume 3D input and output, and it has the ability to do target
oriented PSTM as well. P3DPSTM has anti-alias option and the option to produce "common offset gather"
which is suitable for velocity analysis.
- P3DPOSTM
- A parallel one pass 3D poststack time/depth migration combo package, which contains
Kirchhoff time, Finite Difference depth/time, Hale-McClellan, Phase Shift, and Phase Shift Plus
Interpolation. The parallel implementation of the P3DPOSTM scale up linearly for up to 16 processors.
P3DPOSTM has been effectively tested on numerous 3D data sets.
